Veratron Marineshop deliveries and delivery times:

Deliveries from the central Veratron warehouse:

Veratron Marineshop contains over 1000 Veratron and VDO Marine items for marine, watersports, transport and automotive. These sensors, instruments, and parts are not consumer products, but products for professional use. Compared to consumer products, Veratron items therefore have a much lower turnover rate, resulting in longer delivery times than you are used to with consumer products.

We are able to deliver approximately 95% of orders within the Netherlands within 5 working days. For Belgium, this is 7 working days on average. In approximately 5% of orders, the items are not in stock in the German or Czech EU warehouses and significantly longer delivery times may occur. Do you need a part tomorrow or next week? Then please enquire about the delivery time first. We will do our best to keep you informed of any deviations from the standard delivery times and, in consultation with you, select an alternative product that can be delivered quickly.

Partial deliveries of orders consisting of multiple items are only possible in exceptional cases and in consultation with you due to the additional transport costs involved.

If you are a Dutch or Belgian consumer and the delivery time exceeds 30 days, you have the right to cancel your order free of charge in accordance with the consumer delivery conditions.

Logistics within the Netherlands, Belgium, and other EU countries:

For the Netherlands and Belgium, you can choose between PostNL or DHL to send your package. Once a package has been registered for shipment, you will receive a notification via email.

Once PostNL or DHL has received the package, you will receive an email with the track and trace code to track your package. Your package will usually be delivered the next working day. For Belgium, this takes approximately 2 working days. The same applies to most other EU countries.

Logistics outside EU countries:

Deliveries outside the EU are exempt from taxes such as VAT. For shipments outside the EU, we use PostNL as standard. Transit times per country are available on the PostNL website. Please also bear in mind that local customs procedures can take a long time.

For urgent shipments, we use DHL Express or UPS Express on request. This involves high costs.

Service charges:

Service costs apply to products that need to be programmed to customer specifications before they can be put into use. This includes, but is not limited to, CANBUS instruments, tachometers, speedometers, and multifunction displays. These costs are calculated based on an hourly rate of 70 euros per hour excluding VAT. Including 21% VAT, the rate is 84.70 per hour.

Deliveries within the Netherlands by PostNL:

Once your package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us, followed by an email from PostNL. The PostNL email contains a link to your unique Track and Trace code. If you click on this link, you can track your order on the PostNL website. Because these emails contain links, they may end up in your SPAM box. Please check your spam folder before contacting us.

Not present at first delivery attempt:

The PostNL delivery person will leave a note with an “absence code.” You can use this code to choose a new delivery time yourself. This can be done until 10 p.m. If you do not take any action, PostNL will return on the next delivery day.

Not present at second delivery attempt:

In that case, the delivery person will leave a note for you. This note will tell you where you can pick up your package. You can find this information on the Track & Trace link that was sent to you.

Outside the Netherlands, PostNL works with partners in the country of destination. Your package will first go to customs and then to PostNL's partner. Customs has the right to hold shipments for 30 days without giving reasons. You can track the status of your shipment using the link:

DHL does not make a second delivery attempt on the same day. If necessary, DHL can make a second attempt on the next working day and a third on the following working day.

Calculation of shipping costs:

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of your order. Therefore, it is not possible to provide an estimate of the costs in advance. Once you have finished selecting your order, you will receive a clear overview of the shipping options and costs applicable to your order during the checkout process, before you are required to pay. If you do not agree with these costs, you can easily cancel the order by closing your browser tab.

For international business customers, we also offer the EXW Incoterm. This shipping method means that the customer arranges shipping at their own responsibility and expense. In these cases, we do not charge shipping costs.
